When we move a car, the car must be empty. This is true for all licensed and bonded auto shippers. If the things that you want to move will fit inside a car, you would be best served going to a UPS Store and having them ship it all in one of their ground freight containers. Hi Joan, Thank you for asking in the forum! We get this question a lot. The answer is no. For liability and safety reasons, all cars that are being shipped on auto transporters must be empty. If you have a couple of small suitcases that you want to put in the trunk (out of sight, cannot be in the back of an SUV), we can make arrangements to do that for a small additional fee. Movingplace

Hi Harry, You moving cost is based on the amount of space that you use on the truck. The trucks are 8ft wide, 9ft tall and 28ft long. We break them down into smaller compartments using movable walls, so you can get just about any size you need. To get pricing for you, we will need a little more information about what furniture you will be moving and approximate number of boxes, etc. We will also need the make and model of your car to get pricing for moving your car and furniture. The cars are shipped on large auto transporter trucks (the ones that carry 8 or 9 cars at a time). Hi Earllette, We would move the 2 bedroom house on a moving truck and the car on an auto transporter (the big trucks that haul 8 or 9 cars at a time). For the household move, we would bring the truck out and leave it for up to 3 days while you load. Once you are done loading, we drive the truck to Buford and put it in front of your new home where you have up to 3 days to unload. For the car, we have a professional auto transport company pick it up. They load, unload, secure, and insure the car while it is in transit. We can pick up the car and household goods around the same time so that they arrive in Georgia around the same time. Or, you can ship the car ahead if you are going to be there sooner and need transportation. Movingplace
