They were late getting to my house - almost 3 hours late ... but they said they had an emergency at another location. I should have been informed as I had other waiting to help unpack the boxes. We had to start unloading the pods by ourselves for the lost time. When the 4-man team arrived to unload the 2 pods, they got to work and worked wonderfully together. They setup 1 queen and 1 king bed before finishing their unloading. One of the guys left a small black tool bag, which I gave to the man picking up a pod. If that worker wants his tool bag, he needs to contact PackRat. Excellent job, guys. I would have given a 5-star rating IF AND ONLY IF I had been contacted about the delay in arrival time. jeh

This was my first time using Hire-A-Helper while renting through UHaul. I saw the great feedback for A+ Moving Services and booked them immediately. Communication leading up to moving day with Joseph was great. Brian and Cade reached out the morning of, arrived on time (actually a little early with permission), and stayed with us the 4 hours we booked helping loading at the old house and unloading at the new house. (Our reservation was focused on a furniture only move.) I told Brian I loved how he and Cade worked together to pack the truck because I could immediately tell I could step out of their way and they would get it all taken care of together. The trust was immediate. At the new place, we gave them guidance what room items should go in, and they ran with it. I will absolutely book them again for any future move we (or my family/friends) need!

VERY GOOD! They arrived on time. I had a bedroom that I needed to move. I supplied the padding, rope and tape for covering the furniture pieces and they had everything else to complete the job. They were very efficient, organized, communicated well, friendly, polite and respectful to my family, and (very important) heeded my request for handling and packing of my prized and fragile items. I would definitely use their service again. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help for small or big jobs.

They were 1 hour late which set my entire time frame off! My son and I had most everything packed on the truck when they came. They were younger than I thought and were very slow moving at first. I had a little talk with them and they seemed to speed it up at the end. We drove to my storage unit and it was pouring rain!! They were very helpful at the storage unit (more than at the house) and we all worked quickly to get things in the unit. My impression of them was better than at first. We finished in two hours only and I paid for 3 - which is so disappointing because the only reason they could finish on my time frame was because my son and I worked hard right along side of them and we had an hour jump start since they were 1 hour late! I don't think I should have to pay for that hour they didn't show or work but the full amount for 3 hours was deducted from my bank. All and all I was disappointed but I was glad to have the boys help and I got it done. I thought I was hiring more professional men, but that's the way it goes. I will probably go a different route next time. For what I paid I don't think I got the service I should have. I did tip those boys because it was raining so hard and I felt sorry for them. But the truth is they couldn't handle it without my son and I helping and directing. Thank you
