The two gents sent to help with my move were communicative before arriving and I found them to be very friendly, hard working, efficient, and thoughtful in how they moved my items through they house and into the shipping pod. They even managed to wrangle two sleeper sofas through some geometrically challenging corners and doorframes. I wish I remembered their names so I could call them out specifically, as they were great.

Anthony and another crew member showed up at my door to save my butt same day when my partner and I had basically collapsed on a mattress on the floor due to exhaustion from days of packing up and unloading a rental truck. Can't thank them enough. Very professional, courteous, and hard working.

I would absolutely recommend Shield Moving Services! I had asked if they could come earlier in the day than I originally scheduled, and they made it happen! They finished the job really quickly and were friendly and polite. They didn't damage anything and were really considerate of where we wanted to put everything, and of the things that we were keeping on the truck to put in storage. Hopefully I won't be moving again any time soon, but if I do, I will absolutely hire them again!

Extreme Movers gave me a call about 30 minutes before they arrived and they were in time. They had me in my house in just two hours and even adjusted furniture to my liking - which took a couple of tries because I was undecided. Super nice and extremely professional. I highly recommend and would definitely hire to move me again.

The helpers arrived on time and worked hard to get our U-Pack unloaded. One of the three helpers appeared out of shape and took frequent breaks. He told us later that he had back surgery just 5 days before and was feeling like "jello". A bit disappointing. I would give a 5 star rating to two of the three helpers.

With my job I frequently have to move so I use a lot of different movers. When we moved to Wisconsin we had never been to the Midwest and were unsure what to expect. The first people we came into contact with were Nathan and his crew. We were blown away by how nice they were! They were prompt, and didn't waste any time unloading our trailer. Because of this first encounter we have used them multiple times, they go above and beyond to make sure everything is 100% complete. They even completely broke down our heavy marble table, before they loaded up our trailer this last time. I will definitely use them again, when I move back to Wisconsin.

I originally booked another moving company for my move a week in advance. That company couldn't be contacted and wouldn't return calls 3 days before the date for my job. Last minute I worked with hire-a-helper to book extreme movers. I can't say enough about these guys. They brought an extra person to make sure that the job was done on time and were exceptionally friendly. The house I moved into is quite unique with it's set up, and these guys were able to maneuver my heavy furniture up 2 flights of stairs. They also helped recommend great places to visit and eat in our new city. When I move again I will definitely hire them for the job and will recommend them to other people.

These helpers were able to fit me in when the original company failed to show. They were on time. They were very friendly. They worked fast.

I've hired these guys twice- once when we moved in August of 2011 - our house wasn't ready yet but we could store stuff in the attic (not an easy place to maneuver due to a tight, old stairwell) and also into a little studio next to the house. They unpacked our HUGE 26' truck in just over an hour and were very nice and cautious while doing so. I was so impressed with them, I hired them again in October when our house was finally ready! Again, they were just superb guys to work with. Sweet, efficient, fast, and careful - not only that, they actually had me go into the attic w/them to make sure I wasn't forgetting something I'd want brought down (and I was - halloween boxes!) as well as recommending where to put the hutch (great location!), etc. They are young, but sweet, and Milton, the owner, definitely knows what he's doing! I'd love to just be friends with these guys, would (and have) recommend them, and will definitely hire them again :) -Val Jupe PS: Yes they were on-time!
