Showed up during the appointed time. Moved things in on a second floor. Friendly and did a good job.

I booked this crew 4 hours before they ended up coming after deciding last minute to book movers. Donnie was amazing and his team was incredible! They showed on time and ended up sending more people and got the job done in 40 minutes flat. The crew was so kind and upbeat! Cannot recommend them enough and will likely use them to help unload some larger appliances soon! I’d give 10 stars if I could! If you’re thinking about booking Gateway Movers I can 10000% confirm it’s the best decision you’ll make!

Great communication from the company. Movers arrived 30 minutes outside of timeframe but called to let us know. Very polite and worked hard. Finished moving a 1 bedroom apartment in an hour even after having to wait for maintenance to help remove a door. Not particularly careful. Some damage to furniture pieces based on how they were carried. Items were not expensive but they didn’t acknowledge the damage. Had trouble getting the couch in and while waiting for assistance left it sitting on its end leading to it getting dirty. They were more careful with some items. Kept table wrapped in blanket and set it carefully. Wouldn’t necessarily use them again.

These guys did a great job, They were on time and were able to get everything safely in the moving truck. I was worried a couple times that, maybe, we had gotten the wrong sized truck and they expertly got everything in. When we arrived at our destination all our items were secured in place and it was easy to get everything out and into our new place. I'd recommend.

Booked E & J Moving for an unload of our moving truck. Coming from out of state I was worried that things would not go as planned since it was a Sunday and a holiday weekend. All went well even though the job before us unexpectedly took longer (not their fault) and upon arrival they worked quickly and efficiently to unload our truck. Very friendly and professional guys! They worked hard and asked if there was anything else we needed assistance with when finished. Excellent company, highly recommend!

Kind considerate and made my move less stressful

The guys were awesome! I had some heavy items that needed to be moved to the basement, and they took great care in getting them there. The didn't complain or even seem dissatisfied with the work. Outstanding job. I had a 8x16 container that was full, and they did the job in about an hour. Amazing! Thank you, gentlemen!

Overall effective, quick, and friendly. Would certainly hire them again. There was a small incident where the movers accidentally broke one of my windows, so that was a bit of a nuisance (having to clean that up, calling both my landlord and the moving company to follow protocol, etc), but again the company is extremely affordable so I’m not really complaining (not a whole lot anyways).

The two men arrived early, were very courteous and worked hard. Got everything unloaded safely and in record time. Would definitely recommend!

very good communication with this company. Texts and calls were made to me to verify start date and time. Only downside was helper wasn’t strong enough to move everything we had. Taj, the main guy, was an experienced mover and gave the guy good instruction on how to handle every piece. Nothing was damaged and they were both respectful and worked fast. We probably should have used three guys instead of two but my husband got in there and helped move the two pieces that were giving them problems. I’d definitely use them again, tho.

extremely professional, knowledgeable in regards to safe handling of delicate items such as furniture, etc. Courtesy, quick ,and more importantly showed a great deal of compassion to help ease my anxiety with other "folk" handling my things. if I could have hired this team (JV and Miguel) to unload at the destination state- I would have.

They came early and stayed late. Did a nice job, lots of heavy lifting!
