This was my first time using HireAHelper. Based on the amount of stuff we had to move up to a third floor apartment, we hired two helpers for three hours. This company had great reviews so we decided to go with them. The two men who came to help were friendly, but seemed pretty rushed and could have been more careful with the items. We ended up doing a lot of unpacking from the truck and ferrying items ourselves. Despite the information on the website, the helpers did not bring any of their own moving equipment. They also had young children with them who were helping to carry things, which seemed a bit strange and raised concerns about the care being taken with the items. The company’s employees twice recommended we hire a third helper to complete the job, however they finished the work after two hours (because we had four other people chipping in) and there’s no way we would have needed another person. It’s disappointing that this company doesn’t offer refunds for hours not used, and that HireAHelper charges such a high service fee. Not sure I would use this service or company again.

They showed up on time. Worked very diligently and finished when expected. Price was what was quoted. No additional charges. I would highly recommend.

The guys did a great job of unloading our stuff. They were almost too fast though. Then I found out they had another job hat day and were hoping to leave early. The did stay but only at our insistence. That being said, we were still very satisfied with our move-in team.

The gentlemen were very courteous and helpful. They were on time even though we had a last minute change in moving day. Chaz and crew did a great job unloading all three of our pods and even helped us reassemble our beds. I would highly recommend Chaz and crew to anyone moving in the area. I would definitely use them again.

I used Aloha Movers twice, the 1st time thru Hire-A-Helper, and a 2nd time directly with Aloha. I suggest you ALWAYS use Hire-A-Helper. The 1st move went well, fast, efficient and billed exactly as described. The second time, even though it was the same move only in reverse, it took over twice as long, they were almost 2 hours late in arriving (and charged us for that time) and charged a higher rate. In short, I would use Aloha again, but ONLY thru the Hire-A-Helper service.
