What Is the Best Price Guarantee
If you book a mover through MovingPlace and later find the exact same mover offering the same service for less—we’ll match it.
Price Match Details
If you find a cheaper price for the same mover, we’ll refund you the difference (up to $75 or 10% of your booking, whichever is lower), so you can feel confident that you’re getting trusted, professional movers at the best possible price.
What Qualifies for a Price Match
To be eligible for a refund, the lower-priced offer must meet all of the following:
- It’s for the same Moving Service Provider (MSP) you booked through MovingPlace
- It’s for the same date(s) and same move size (e.g., 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom, etc.)
- The service type is the same (full-service, labor-only, etc.)
- The same number of movers and truck size (if applicable) are included
- The distance is the same, whether it’s local or long-distance
- The lower price is either publicly listed or available in a written quote
- You submit your request at least 24 hours before your move begins
How to Submit a Price Match Request
Email [email protected] with:
- Your name and contact info
- Your move date(s)
- Your origin and destination cities
- Your original MovingPlace booking confirmation
- A screenshot or PDF of the lower-priced offer
Send it at least 24 hours before your move starts
Once submitted, we’ll review your request and respond within 10 business days. If approved, we’ll refund the difference directly to your payment method.
What’s Not Covered?
There are a few exclusions. The guarantee doesn’t apply to:
- Different movers, dates, or services
- Verbal or handwritten quotes
- One-off discounts, flash sales, or coupon-based promotions
- Requests made less than 24 hours before your move
- More than one claim per booking
- Refunds above $75 or 10% of the booking total (whichever is lower)
