The issue I had was that the movers did not show up and I did not receive any call until I spent 45 minutes trying to find out why. When the movers did show up 3 days later they were not really doing a great job packing. They seemed more in a hurry to do the least amount of work and get out. I am not sure I would use them again.

They were both very polite and hard-working. I would ask for them again in the future. Thanks for your service

Our helpers arrived on time, as promised. The first thing they did was to make a mental inventory of all the things that needed to be packed into the container, so as to develop a packing strategy. They were very polite and professional and worked hard during the entire period. They were able to completely load a 16 foot container in 2 1/2 hours. They were very careful to wrap all of the furniture in the moving blankets that we provided. We would definitely use this service again and highly recommend

Now that I have unloaded my trailer, I can give a review. John and Austin's job was to load a freight trailer with household goods from my two-story house. My mistake was to budget only 4 hours to do the job as it was a full day's work. They were only able to spend 6 hrs for my job. In that time, they worked hard and were able to bring everything down to the first floor and put all the large items on the trailer. The first problem is that I explained a tarp had to be put down in the front of the trailer to protect from water splashed from the tractor's tires (I was warned by the freight driver). They understood it as water from the trailer tires in the middle of trailer and would place the tarp in the middle of the floor. After the first two tiers, I noticed the tarp had not been placed, so the tiers had to be taken down, tarp placed, and tiers rebuilt. This was time wasted, and even then the box in the front floor corner was soaked because the tarp was not placed well. The second problem is that paper pads were rarely used. I pointed out the high-value items and they were protected well with paper pads and cling wrap. I bought 100 paper pads. At the end of the day, I had over 75 left. I would have appreciated if more pads were used. All the other non-high value furniture suffered from rubs and scrapes that would not have occurred if more pads were used. Finally, the last tier was really ragged. When I finished filling the trailer the next day, I had to bring it down and rebuild it. In bringing it down, I found a nice old chair had had its leg broken off. The trailer had not moved an inch and a piece of furniture was severely damaged. I don't know if it can be fixed. To sum up, John and Austin arrived on time, worked diligently and respectfully. Unfortunately, the results were not what I expected or desired. Update: MovingZoom has reached out to make good on my issues. I appreciate their responsiveness.

Showed up right on time and worked their butts off the entire time! Two really nice young men. Very polite and pleasant. Worth every penny (and then some)!

They took my bed apart and left the lower pegs lying on the floor. I now must go back thru my stored stuff to find those pegs, otherwise my bed will be sitting on the frame at a much lower level. They did pack all that they could, but the pod was just not big enough to take everything.

I was thoroughly impressed with the gentlemen who helped me with my move. Extremely professional and timely and helped me set up my fridge and laundry room also. Great bunch of guys. I hope I never move again but if I did I would try to hire these same guys.

Pat and his team arrived on time to help me move a 16' PODS container into my 2nd floor apartment. Had set-up for 3 helpers for 3 hours to account for longer walks (wasn't sure where PODS would get placed as this was an apartment complex where parking is limited and restricted). They introduced themselves and quickly went to work. They brought the dollies and body harnesses and used them efficiently. Whenever they encountered an item/furniture damaged during transit, they quickly noted and informed me prior to moving it. They were very careful on handling the goods. They ended up finishing about 2hrs and 5mins in, and since the time has already been paid for, asked if I wanted them to do anything else (like maybe shift the boxes or furniture inside the apartment). I would definitely use them again on my next move and highly recommend them for your move into the Bay area.

My EZ Move Helpers were awesome! They came right on time, let me explain what I wanted, and then got right to work. They packed everything very carefully and made sure all my things were properly positioned so there would be no breakage. I really got the help I needed and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Billy was fantastic, he did 80% of the work by himself... Julian was lazy, slow and all he wanted to do is talk.
