The two movers were exceptional! Courteous, efficient, respectful, outgoing and extremely hard working! The did the job in half the time I would have expected. They placed furniture items exactly where we needed the items within the home. They moved with purpose and energy and with smiles on their faces even though the temperature exceeded 105 degrees! They were both sweating buckets yet they both exhibited a wonderful, outgoing and funny demeanor. The were they best and definitely deserve 5-stars! I only wish their manager was as customer focused as they were. We tried repeatedly to contact the manager about the date and time of the move without any response. It was only after elevating the issue that we were finally contacted 2 hours past the time the original move was to have taken place. Since I was hauling a trailer I was forced to park my vehicle partially into the street due to the length of the trailer and car. This of course forced neighbors and others to weave around my car in order to proceed down the road. I would give the manager a 1-star rating (even tough she did apologize for her actions and lack of follow-up and follow-through). The two movers should be promoted to managers and the manager needs to understudy them!

Man! These guys were Great! They were right on time, they were Professional and also Friendly. I didn't have a lot of directions for them but they were very receptive of the few requests I had and went out of their way to accommodate them. Also they know how to pack a container the right way. They absolutely knew what they were doing, im glad in the end I didn't try to pack it myself. They finished right on time. Worth the money. 5 stars, Highly recommended.

I felt like their service was just ok. We were moving from Maryland to Illinois and just needed help loading the truck. They arrived on time, right in the middle of their window. I felt like they were slow, I mean why wouldn't they be they get paid by the hour. They arrived without a dolly which I requested they bring. Good thing we had one. They loaded the truck with all the boxes first and then furniture. In my opinion they misused the furniture pads and had ran out of the 3 dozen we rented from Budget before they were finished with loading the furniture.My husband and father in law ended up having to help with loading which is not what I envisioned when I paid people to move us. We were moving from a 2 bedroom townhouse to a 2 bedroom townhouse and thought it should take no more than 3 hours to load the truck. Afterall, we have down this move with the same stuff a handful of times. After about 5 hours the 2 workers were standing there looking at what they couldn't fit on the truck and basically suggesting we get rid of my grill. My husband send them on their way, repacked the end of the truck, spending another hour of his time. Putting us on the road 5 hours later than we planned on leaving. I am so glad that I spent over $400 and still had the same headaches and problems we would have had doing it all ourselves. When we unpacked our things in Illinois, I was surprise to find nothing was exactly broken, but much of our furniture had ding marks and dents from not being padded properly.

The movers from K.Y. Movers were terrific. Scheduling the time was easy and the owner was very flexible, helpful and responsive. The movers were friendly, professional, and willing to help out in any way. They went above and beyond the call of duty to be sure that we were satisfied. We will use them again and I highly recommend the company.
