The Big Boy Movers crew were great! They arrived on time and quickly went to work. They unloaded a 16 foot pod and set items in their place within 2 hours as scheduled. They were very careful and made sure not to damage furniture and items and were careful not to damage place. The latter was tricky since they had to go up 2 flights of narrow staircases in the townhouse.

I was so impressed! When I talked to them prior to my move they gave great recommendations and told me exactly what I would need. They worked hard the entire time they were there, were very conscientious of my walls and home when moving furniture out and wrapped everything so well. They loaded my pod like a puzzle. They fit so much in and really maximized the space. Every crack and corner was filled and nothing moved once the doors were closed. I was nervous to hire movers because of a bad experience in the past but they were incredible!!

The 2 young men we hired started out in a very conscientious manner. They handled our heavy furniture carefully as they removed it from the house. However, they hurried in their efforts to load the truck and several pieces of furniture ended up with a number of scratches. When it came time to unload the truck their first priority was unload the truck as quickly as possible. The great majority of boxes were clearly marked as to which room or area of the house they were to be placed. In most instances the movers simply stacked the boxes in the garage! They listened to our instructions and communicated with us well (we are deaf and used paper/pen as a communication tool and they were unfazed by this...which isn’t common for us!).
