Chris, Ricky and Chris were excellent!

They did an excellent job taking care of my furniture, making sure things were properly handled and safely moved. They arranged my boxes in a thoughtful manner based on the labeling I put on them. They were about 35 minutes late, but the service was excellent and the lateness wasn't worth docking a star for it.

Hired a team of two to move large furniture items into a moving pod. Arrived on time, were very professional, and my items looks like they are packed well for the move. My only suggestion is that the team handle two man carries better. There were a few pieces that required both team members but only one attempted. I was worried they might hurt themselves. A great crew! I hope I get the same guys to unpack the moving pod when the time comes.

We would give them a fifteen out of ten. They went above and beyond. Thet were knowledgeable and very organized. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They were on time, in between the 9 and 10 window that they told me. But there were 4 different guys that arrived all at separate times and most of them didn’t seem to know what was going on or that other people were involved. They were all very nice and worked hard but it was a bit disorganized and as someone who had never done it before I wasn’t sure what was going on either. There were a couple instances were they dragged my furniture and knocked it against my wall scraping up the wall but nothing major. Overall they did a good job but I probably would not use this service again, I didn’t realize it would just be random people that this company didn’t know, and it was pretty disorganized

They arrived on time and were courteous and friendly. Moved everything out quickly and efficiently. Packed truck in an organized way.

Perfect. Showed up on time. Wasted no time disassembling furniture and loading. Unbelievable how well they packed in the furniture and boxes into the truck. Absolutely no damage to the furniture or either of the two houses. I was very impressed at how they worked non stop for 5 hours. I would hire them again without a doubt. So very professional.

The team showed up on time, they were respectful and busy for the whole time. They moved my gear into the truck with great care and I can confirm that as I unpacked them at my final destination. I was surprised that they came with no equipment that would help them with the loading (e.g. hank-trucks or dollies). My biggest issue is that they did not follow what I asked them to do, or at least they underestimated what that would take. I asked them to make sure they loaded all the heavy stuff, items that I could not carry. This mainly consisted of beds, bookcases, sofas, etc. There were a lot of other boxes that they could pack around these items. Not all the heavy stuff was loaded (this was a 26' Penske truck) so I now have to rent another large truck and service provide to complete the move. The plan was for me to pack a smaller truck myself. At the other end, in Austin, I now have plenty of bed clothes and books but not all the beds or bookcases! it is perhaps unfortunate but I have to compare them to the provider that I used in Austin just a few days later. They too came through Hire-a-Helper. This team showed up with the appropriate equipment and followed everything I asked.

I was worried about whether someone would show up. In an email it said that if I had not heard from Rayshon, I should call him. There were 2 numbers listed. I called the first number at 1:08 pm and left a message. When I had not heard back I called the second number at 4:47 and left a message. Neither was replied to so at 9:00 I called Hire a Helper but also had to leave a message. When Rayshon showed up at 8 he said he never got my messages. The other guy showed up in the next few minutes. After the POD was emptied, Rayshon left to start the next job. The other guy stayed around to put my bed frame together and move some furniture around. Since I was paying for a minimum of 2 hours I thought they should have taken more furniture blankets and protective civering off of some of the other furniture. Not sure I’d hire from here again. I was a bit disappointed.
