Landon and his partner could not have been more considerate or helpful. They moved all our furniture with care and ensured it was put where we wanted it. When we asked them to work overtime they agreed and helped get the last of our possessions inside. Throughout their time they were cheerful and friendly. We would gladly recommend them.

Done and done! I had an small job, but required brawn I just didn’t have. They brought brawn, but they were also on time and friendly! They moved a huge toolbox and even adjusted it 6 inches at my request with a great attitude. If I need another mover in my future, I certainly will call them. My only request would be that they would have a smaller time minimum, but I get it!

We selected J & M Moving from the list of possibilities on Hire a Helper based on prior reviews, and their claim to come equipped to meet our packing needs in a professional manner. The workers showed up on time. There were actually 3 rather than the two we had contracted for. While packing our stuff I truly believed that they worked hard. While doing a walk through of our house they seemed quite picky about what they would pack and what they would not pack. This was the first difference I noticed from workers we hired from Hire a Helper to pack our first Pod. The dynamic of the works seemed odd to me. One of the workers was clearly the leader while the others needed constant instruction on what to do next. The crew did have basic knowledge of how to pack a Pod (from what I could tell) but were far from experts. After removing several screws from the bottom of our dinning room table they were unablre to separate the top from the base and ended up putting it in the Pod in one piece. This took up more room than necessary. I then had to instruct them how to manuver the table out our back door. Towards the end the lead worker asked my if I had any rope to tie down the load. All my rope was already packed in the Pod. I offered to run to the hardware store and get some at which point he suggested I get straps instead as they would work better. When I returned and provided them with the straps they installed them incorrectly. The Pod is full enough so this will not be an issue, but still this was a concern. Finally, the crew had difficulty remembering what they were told to pack. Once they left I discovered many items they were told to pack that were not put in the Pod. I spent about an hour completing the task. All-in-all while these were all very nice young men, I would no likely use J & M Moving again.

While the first crew was a disappointment, Paul did everything in his power to rectify the situation. I would trust Paul with any future moves.

They arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time window, worked SO hard, were respectful of all the furniture that they handled, and exceeded our expectations as to the amount of work they got done in the short time we scheduled them for. We will definitely recommend them to all friends and family, as we can’t imagine anyone else doing a better job.

They were absolutely impressive in every aspect. Their professionalism, efficiency, work ethic and expertise in packing was beyond anything I imagined. They packed everything so securely that the 16 foot pod could roll over and nothing would be broken. Every odd shaped item, each fragile item and every antique were wrapped with extra care and secured. They were AMAZING. Thanks to them, my treasures are safe and secure.

My daughter and her boyfriend just moved a lot of stuff in a large moving truck from Arizona to Newburgh Oregon and I retained this company to outlawed everything up one flight of stairs into their apartment and there was an awful lot of stuff! My daughter and her boyfriend say that this company is outstanding in every way! And they were on time as well

I would definitely use this service and recommend them for my friends to use. They were on the ball from the time I set up the date and time on the internet until the job was finished. They called to confirm the order the shortly after I booked it. They called and confirmed I would be there for the guys to show up on schedule. Two young men came on time and had my UHaul truck unloaded in an hour and then helped set a few items of furniture. They were friendly and polite and took care of where to put items. I believe they were the best part of my move. I would definitely recommend this company.

The company last minute moved up my load date and time to be accommodating. Very kind of them. The 3 boys were very respectful and hard workers. The supervisor young man was very capable at packing the POD and disassembling the mechanical bed. They did not come with enough equipment to efficiently move things would be my only dissatisfaction. But that said, that speaks no lesser of the boys, but heads up to the owner of the company.

Showed up on time, worked hard, loaded the entire POD in 1 hour. They were professional and treated my belongings with respect. I would highly recommend them. Thank you!
