While BB’s movers were helpful, it took them much longer to do the job than expected. This is not the first time I’ve moved and used movers and it has never taken them this long. While they started off fast, they got slower as they went to the point where I and the manager began helping. This also caused me way more overtime than I expected. They also were not super careful with the furniture and fragile items. Sometimes the guys even stopped to take smoke breaks. For the money paid, I expected the quality of service to be better. I probably would not use them again.

Honestly, the guys were hard workers, friendly, and showed up on time BUT holy cow they were not professional movers. They were slow, not because they weren't working hard but because they didn't have the knowledge to be efficient. They didn't bring moving straps for example. They didn't understand how to load the truck appropriately either, for efficiency or common sense. For example putting a ladder on top of a nice dresser with no protecting the dresser top or putting an item that has lots of empty space and then not filling the empty space with boxes. So, really nice guys who have clearly not gotten any training and for $100 an hour for 2 guys i expect a bit more.
