The team was great! They were communicative, respectful and figured out how make everything fit and pack it carefully— which was especially important since I was moving several glass-fronted furniture items.

We hired We Help to move our daughter's dorm room belongings into a U-Haul truck. They let us know what time they were coming, and they did an excellent job getting her furniture down several steep flights of stairs at no extra charge. Universal Movers were amazing to work with. The movers we had originally hired cancelled on us an hour before they were scheduled to arrive. We frantically called around and were able to find Universal Movers. We should have hired them from the beginning. They moved everything for us much quicker than we imagined, showed up immediately, had the best attitudes and were very careful with our belongings. We should have went with them from the beginning. I would highly recommend them for your move!

The helpers who came to our new house were terrific. Nicodemus and Michael were great; they were curteous, very careful with our possessions, walls, etc., and were patient with us. Unfortunately, they were not told to bring the appliance and other dollies that would have made the unloading go more quickly (one of the reasons we chose Competitive Movers was because they had the equipment we would need). The helpers didn't miss a beat, hand carrying two refrigerators, a washer and dryer, etc. with no complaints -- and no problems. Though when I called our contact at Competitive Movers HQ to discuss our options without dollies, we did not receive a call back or follow-up of any kind.

Stellar work ethic and great attitudes. The guys were very professional and took great care of our furniture. Moving was actually a fairly pleasant experience for once. I would highly recommend Five Star Movers to anyone looking for reliable help. They came early and left late, more than I could have asked for.
