We hired three workers for three hours. They showed up a little late but worked very hard and stayed late to make up the time. They were also willing to help longer than what was booked and stay late to help unload the truck. The worker who took the lead managed the other two workers well and loaded the furniture into the pod and truck in a way that utilized the space well. Some of the negatives were the extra charge on the treadmill (the weight of the treadmill did not exceed the weight limit listed for the extra charge), and the fact that they dropped the treadmill on my hardwood floor and caused damage. We had a commercial dolly, and I offered moving straps and sliding pads which were never used. My husband also took the treadmill apart into two pieces to make it more manageable. Another negative is that my floors and brand-new carpet, were left very dirty as it was raining, and shoes were not removed. This is understandable given the circumstances, but none-the-less it took a significant amount of extra time and effort to clean the floors for the new homeowners, when we were pressed for time and exhausted anyway.

Frankie was the best! He contacted me quickly after I placed my request. We agreed to a slight change in the appointment time. He and his partner were at the site on-time, worked efficiently, and were very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to others!

They arrived on time even though it was snowing and blowing, miserable weather for having to unload a pod or pretty much any other work. But they didn’t complain and did a great job!

I booked 3 movers for 2 hours, but one was not available x the 1 that came were on time, friendly, careful with my furniture and boxes, efficient and funny. They said the other guy would have just been in their way! I had hoped to get 6 large items into the pod, and maybe some items moved into my garage. They did all that, plus moved all the boxes I had packed and a number of smaller furniture items. Incredible. I will be requesting them when the new home is done!!

Thank you Hire A Helper! Jay & Kevin knocked our moving project out of the park! What we thought was going to a challenge since it was in the midst of a snowstorm, these two put us at ease and very efficiently unloaded our pod contents. We wanted a refrigerator placed in a certain room and it was difficult to fit through the doorway even with the doors removed. Over and above what I ever expected them to do, Jay & Kevin removed the wheel assembly, moved the fridge to where we wanted it and then reassembled it in place. We could not have been more pleased with their service and dedication to our satisfaction! Thank you very much Jay & Kevin!

Minutemen were great but Hire A Helper mixed up the time. I recommend going directly through the moving company itself vs third party site.

They worked very hard to get our sofa through a very tight squeeze on a stairway. But they did not wear masks.

Review after Pod delivered. Mike and his team arrived to load my Pod in a heavy rainstorm. I was okay with how they handled removing items from my home but should have spent more time monitoring the loading. There were numerous items that were unable to be loaded that I wound up giving away or having to ship to my temporary address as we needed to be out of the home that day. At no time was this addressed until one of the crew mentioned they were short on space it was packed to the door. After Pod was delivered, the door was wedged and we had to dig items out to be able to open it. Boxes were stacked onto each other regardless of if they were marked fragile or heavy. Goods were crushed, broken and bent. No strapping was used to hold the load so the items shifted in transit. If you use Mike's service, please stress how your goods should be be handled and to protect fragile goods.

Three delightful gentlemen! They saw what needed to be done and jumped right it. We had them working late on a Saturday afternoon, and they were still eager and willing.
