Original movers never showed up. They were due at 9am. Replacement movers showed up at 1pm. They did a wonderful job!

The movers showed up exactly on time and finished in under two hours. The packing of our PODS was excellent. I would highly recommend them to move again.

I have used Hire a Helper many times and have never left anything except a 5 star review - until now. The guys were nice, but were clearly rushing to get done early instead of taking the time to be sure everything was right. While they kept asking if everything was satisfactory, they often did so as they were walking by and didn't wait for an answer or for me to check out what they had done. I intentionally added a cushion to the anticipated unload time, and prepaid for an additional 2 hours specifically because I needed them to put everything in the correct room and exactly where I need it. (I am not physically able to move heavy boxes or furniture around after the fact for health reasons.) They tried to get me to sign off on the app so they could leave, but 1/2 the boxes were just piled up in the garage. I told them they had to move those to the appropriate room - kitchen, bedroom, etc. They did it, but begrudgingly. Keep in mind, I still had 1 1/2 hours left on my paid hours at this point. I also asked them to lift the mattress so I could put the bed ruffle on. I tried to do this before the mattress was put on, but they put the mattress down before I had a chance. Anyhow, he told me that they get paid for the move only and this wasn't included but "they would do it as a favor". This comment and the attitude it infers was totally uncalled for, since I had paid them for 4 hours labor and they only worked 2 1/2 hours. They also told me that reassembling the beds was not on the order, which isn't even a question on the website as an option when booking (so its never specifically stated on the order). They did assemble the beds, but didn't have all the tools they needed and had to use some of my tools. They also just left the moving blankets and bubble wrap that they took off the furniture right on the floor. Every mover I have ever used has folded and stacked the blankets, and also disposed of the bubble wrap. I've never had to ask, it is just part of the service. I have never worked with a Hire a Helper team that strived to do only the bare minimum until this. I would not use them again, as there are many other excellent options on Hire a Helper which I believe would give me the higher quality of service I have received in the past.

They were FANTASTIC! They were on time and kept moving all the time…efficient! Courteous, careful, respectful, and thorough! Highly recommend and would use them again!

We hired Pro Movers Express to unload a Pod we had delivered to our new home. They were late arriving, but got right to work upon arrival and had the Pod emptied in no time. They were careful with our belongings and placed all the boxes in the rooms where they belonged. They were friendly and courteous. I would recommend them and use them again if we moved. Carlton, Pong,and Omega were awsome! They are super strong, Super careful, and Super considerate. I recommend them highly! You can't go wrong with them. They even set up my shelves and bed.

They did a terrific job. They worked hard. They were friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile and fixed some things that happened during transport of the pod. A wheel was broken on his large standing toolbox. They repaired the wheel and tightened the others. The also fixed a couple wheels on the bed frame and put it together for us. Base of both leather rocker recliners were loose and they tightened them for us. Were very careful with our belongings and we would not hesitate to use them again. Plan to recommend them to friends. We need to support our veterans. Thank you Stars and Stripes for a job well done and God Bless the United States of America and its armed forces.

I've used another service before and A Plus Moving was so organized they brought their own moving tools to get the job done right and fast. You could also tell by the way they loaded the truck that they have a lot of experience. I would highly recommend them and use them again!
