I hired 2 movers to load the truck. They arrived early and they were very professional and friendly. They brought tools which was great because my bed needed to be dismantled. They worked very hard and were really quick. They were very careful with my belongings. I would definitely hire them again!

The two guys who came to move my appliances and heavier furniture were amazing! I believe their names were Katen and Donnie. They were on time, worked extremely hard, and were respectful and professional. They made a difficult move much easier. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

It was a very pleasurable experience having Gilbert and Kenya (Smart Move, LLC) unload my POD. They arrived on time, ready to work. Extremely polite and very professional individuals who were very careful with my antiques and other furniture. I will not hesitate to call and request their services in the future.

The four young men that emptied my 16' pod did so in a timely manner and put items where I asked. The only reason that I didn't give them five stars is one of the handles on my mattress appears to have torn off during the move up a flight of stairs. It's not a huge deal, but i would of appreciated a heads up from the team, instead of discovering it after they had all left.

The last time I moved I used a moving company. Since this was to be a 5 mile move I used this company. I spoke with Duane (Woody) and he assured me that he and two helpers would arrive between 1 and 2 pm. The day of the move arrived and Duane called and stated that he was stuck at another job and that he would have to send his helpers. He then called back at 2 and stated that out of the three that were coming that one called in sick and that they were finding a third person. Well, the crew called at 2:05 and said that they would be there at 2:25. They did not get here until 3:00. When they arrived they thought that they were just going to be loading a truck, they had no idea that they were to load and unload also. The boys were quite small and had a hard time moving stuff as most of the furniture was heavy. My husband was helping with a lot of the heavier items......(I felt bad for him, but nothing would have gotten moved without his help). The other boy that came with the boys stood around a lot and had to be motivated to help. I do think that he might not have done this line of work before. The first item that they moved they forgot to tape the drawers shut and ended up breaking one of the drawers. I was so upset but didn't let on as we had to get this one the move. I only booked them for 4 hours and they way this was going already I knew it was going to be longer. We did get done but about 45 mins later than the time booked. We did not get charged for the extended time due to them being so late. If we would have I would have not paid any way due to the one guy standing around and not doing much. Unfortunately I will not used this company again due to the person first of all not coming and then just adding another guy to the mix that obviously had no idea how to move anything. One of the movers did mention that the owner does not tell him the truth about the moves a lot and he said that it would be the last time that he worked for him. Over all the boys were nice, but I need bigger men to move furniture so my husband doesn't have to help. I felt that part of the money that we had to pay should have gone to the hubby and to me as I had to help too!!!! Will not use them again.

There was a mix up about the time they were supposed to be there, but they made up for it when they arrived. They were hard working, curtious and careful with our furniture. Yes, I would recommend using them.

We hired 2 movers from AJ's Affordable Movers to unload a 14" rental truck which was filled completely, including some heavy oak furniture. We live out in the country in western NC where it is easy to take the wrong turn, which is what they did. They called us and we got them back on track. They arrived about 10 minutes late, but made up for it when they arrived. It took them only an hour to completely unload the Truck, then put some of it back on the truck securely tied down, so we could take it to a different location. They were careful with our stuff and placed it where ever a I asked them to. Yes, I would recommend AJ's Affordable Movers.
