Jake and Dallas were superior moving experts. They arrived on time, worked diligently throughout the move time, and they brought their own equipment to transfer the boxes and furniture. They were careful of special items and made sure the moving blankets we supplied were used to protect the furniture from the elements. I recommend them without any reservation!

They even helped fix our wobbly dinning room table (Thank you!) We had heavy difficult furniture to move and in some tight spaces, but they finessed everything in its proper place. Strong guys, friendly and seemed caring. They obviously had some experience packing and kept busy. But they stopped after about 1.5 hours, before the job was done, saying the truck was full; it wasn't. I added several boxes after they left, but I couldn't get the twin bed set loaded by myself. We both forgot about 3 bins in a closet. Unfortunately, because I had book them ahead of time for an extra hour (3 instead of the minimum 2 hours), I was charged for 3 hours and the company would not refund the cost of the 3rd hour. So I would advise that you book for the minimum amount of time you believe it might take and then ask what they do if you need more time. Perhaps the person who hired them before me did that, and that is why they were more than an hour later than the arrival window.

I was skeptical at first using Hire a Helper but now I am so glad I did. We would have not been able to move it ourselves. The Guys were so nice, called us when they were on their way and really move our stuff carefully. They are the best. Highly recommended. If i can give 10 stars. I will. These guys did a great job covering the really heavy lifting. They took the time to check doorway widths and figure how to twist the larger furniture to protect woodwork through passageways. I highly recommend them and would hire them back in a heartbeat. This was my first use of HAH app and it worked without any issue.
