When I looked online to book a moving service, I choose the time that worked best for me, and unfortunately, Moving 4 U didn't show up within the time frame that I choose. I selected between 9-10 am and they showed up at 10:45. This was very inconvenient to me as I was moving out of state that day, as soon at the truck was loaded up. At the end of my 2 hour window, the truck wasn't even half way loaded and I was then informed that the job I had was a 4 man, 4 hour job, and what did I want to do from here. Where I have an issue with this is, when I booked the service, I put detailed notes in stating the job I needed done, and no one reached out to me to confirm that what I choose was a good option, or that I would need to schedule more time. I'm not the professional, so how am I to know what I needed. Zero communication. I had budgeted for my moving service and the time allowed, and neither was accomplished. Something else that was unexpected was one of the movers drug my dresser out of storage and broke a leg off. I was informed that it was due to the screws being too short. If the dresser was handled appropriately, this would not have happened. If I had to do this all over again, I would not rehire this company.
