I am rather picky and I was tempted to leave a 4-star rating, but I would in fact recommend Outlier Moving.
On the pro side, loading a 16-foot pod/container, they were:
- On time (well, ten minutes late)
- Did a very good job protecting items, some of them quite fragile
- Followed instructions as to where things should be positioned (sometimes suggesting slight modifications to better reduce movement during transit)
- At the end, they patiently waited while I did a last sweep of the house to ensure that everything got loaded
- They were personable and polite
On the negative side:
- They were not quite as fast as some of the movers I’ve worked with (requiring an extra 20 minutes)
- Sometimes they required a bit of supervision to ensure I got what I wanted
As I say I am quite picky, and while my inclination was to give them a 4-star review, the majority of people would award them five stars.
