Highly recommend. John the Mover and Alfonso unloaded a 28 ft freight trailer for us that traveled across the country. John called me the day before to confirm the job and then again a few hours before their scheduled 1pm arrival to confirm that we were ready. They showed up right on time and quickly made work of our stuff taking care to make sure they did not cause damage to our new floors.

On time- very friendly. Definitely recommend would use again! Workers were John, Tay, and pops.

Mr. Man Moving Service went above and beyond. In addition to unloading a pod, loading a U-Haul, and unloading the U-Haul at a self-storage unit, they moved an extra large cabinet from upstairs into the garage that we thought we'd have to turn into firewood instead. They worked hard and completed an unusual move in two hours. I was impressed and grateful.

Knowledgeable and courteous. They were quick and made great use of the time. I will definitely be using them again.

They were on time and worked really hard the first day. They were a no-show the next day and did not return my phone calls or hire a helper phone calls the second day.

Alta Moving would have earned 5 stars from me except for two things: 1) They called the day before to move their time back and hour, and then were 20 minutes late on top of that. 2) They did not have respect for my work, which I told them prior that I could not answer the phone and that my contractor would tell them what to do. I also told the guy who called earlier that I would release the funds when I got home later that evening after making sure everything was okay. Still, he kept calling and calling. I teach, so I could not answer. It was rude of him to keep calling when I had already told him my time line. When I got home, I saw that they did a great job and I released the funds, just as I said I would. I would use Alta Moving again, but I'd have to be on site because the money was the focus, not the customer service.

The lead was confrontational upon arrival although he appeared 35 minutes after the agreed starting time . He told me and I didn't ask for enough help, nor did I estimate the time for loading properly. This is not intuitive to an unskilled mover like me and my family. He also told me that he couldn't stay for a third hour because he had other customers scheduled. The web site clearly states that a third hour is available if loading runs over allotted two hours. He did calm down and he did have his crew stay an extra hour, but his customer service skills are marginal. I also noted that during the first 30 minutes in particular members of his crew stood around a bit, but then they got into gear. They got 95% of the load in the truck and did a good job, but then scooted out a few minutes early although they charged me for 3 full hours. They left me with items to load and gave me no coaching or suggestions on how to complete the job. They had more interest in getting out then in any form of basic customer service.
