S & L movers were fantastic! Punctual, friendly, efficient, SMART (loading an entire house into pods takes some careful thinking) and seemed to enjoy what they were doing despite excessive heat and humidity the day they were with us. They called that morning to ask if we could move our time back an hour and it was perfectly fine with us. On time, polite guys that worked very efficiently to complete a move of 200+ boxes out of a basement, onto a truck in less than 2 hours. I would recommend them.

The movers were very polite and helpful moving all our furniture back in the house after our floors were refinished. They worked really well with my husband, always asked him where items should be placed and were very respectful of our items and worked really hard. They were about an hour late, but called to let us know their ETA.

Terrence and Damian did a wonderful job of working the entire time and moving all our furniture out. They did not arrive on time, but I received two phone calls telling me their location and the approximate time they would arrive. I very much appreciated this and understand that Chicago traffic can be unpredictable. They had all the tools needed in their vehicle, worked very hard, and were extremely respectful to me and my daughters. They treated all our furniture with care and had some great suggestions as to how to move certain pieces of furniture. Even though they were hot and tired they were still smiling at the end of the job and asking me what else they could do to help. I hope I get the same crew when I have to move my furniture again. Well done!

Tyrone and his crew were wonderful. He called me frequently to keep me up to date on arrival time. When they arrived, they were very courteous, respectful of my home and efficient. They worked hard and never stopped! He had me check when all was completed before leaving. Very pleased and would definitely use again for large or small job.
