Three men arrived at my house to move furniture out of my house and into a PODS container in my driveway. They were efficient and hard working. They treated my belongings with care, ensuring that everything was loaded securely. I was very impressed with everything about the job they did. I highly recommend HIRE A HELPER for all your moving and loading needs.

The Illinois Valley Movers team was friendly, professional, and hard working from the time the showed up to the time they left. I have nothing but positive things to say. They unloaded my POD quickly and efficiently and then spent the rest of their time reassembling my furniture. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Fabulous job. Very accommodating.

The men were here on time and worked hard to get some heavy furniture out of my basement. They were very courteous and put things where I wanted. I would hire them again, knowing I could trust them.

Fantastic young men!! They called ahead to say they would arrive at the very beginning of their hour window. They got straight to work and made short work of a 26' moving truck. They were very attentive to direction/box markings on where to put things and asked on the ones without clear labels. I have a narrow hallway and some long furniture and I haven't found a scrape or dent anywhere. They were so efficient, they even had time to help me assemble some big items. While I hope it's a while before I move again, I will be looking for them when I do.

Chris and his crew arrived on time. They were all very pleasant and hard working. This team knew exactly how to pack my moving van to capacity without compromising the load. All of my items arrived in tack and damage free. Thank you Illinois Valley Movers for a job well done!

Very friendly and great performance

They showed up about 15 minutes late. While one of the packers smelled like a brewery, the olther talked non-stop - he followed me around my house to "tell me stories" instead of packing. They did not bring any tools to take the bed apart - which was listed as a to do item, so they used my husbands tools, which i later found laying out in the driveway. They brought all the furniture out & let it sit in the sprinkling rain while they decided how to pack it. They did not pack everything that needed to go because they ran out of room - when the box reached it's destination the first question the unpackers asked was why we didn't fill it up. Probably would not use this company again.

We had a big job. Mark packed a 26 ft Penske without an inch to spare. If we had tried to do this ourselves we'd have needed another truck to finish the job. Everything went fast and smooth.
